The following four prestigious awards are presented on an annual
basis during the Annual General Meeting:
- Volunteer Recognition Awards
- Corporate Recognition Awards
- Harding Medical Award
- PEIRSAPC President's Award
- School Awards
Program
Member groups of PEIRSAPC are eligible to forward nominations of deserving recipients for each award. A description of each of the award guidelines can be found below.
Procedure:
Outstanding volunteer contributions will be recognized by PEIRSAPC on a yearly basis. Each member group of PEIRSAPC may forward a nomination(s) of an eligible award recipient(s), accompanied by necessary documentation and support. Nominations will also be derived from the staff and Board of Directors of PEIRSAPC.
Nominations will be returned to the Awards Committee ( a sub-committee of the PEIRSAPC Board of Directors) prior to the AGM. The Awards Committee is responsible for the final selection of the Volunteer Recognition Award recipients.

Corporate Recognition Awards will be presented annually. Each member group of PEIRSAPC may forward nominations of eligible award recipients, accompanied by necessary documentation and support. Nominations will also be derived from the staff and Board of Directors of PEIRSAPC utilizing the financial records of the Association.
Nominations will be returned to the Awards Committee ( a sub-committee of the PEIRSAPC Board of Directors) prior to the AGM. The Awards Committee is responsible for the final selection of the Corporate Recognition Award recipients.

The Harding Medical Award may be presented annually. Each member group may forward one nomination of an eligible award recipient, accompanied by necessary documentation and support. Nominations will also be derived from the staff and Board of Directors.
Nominations will be returned to the Awards Committee ( a sub-committee of the PEIRSAPC Board of Directors) prior to the AGM. The Awards Committee is responsible for the final selection of the award recipient.

The PEIRSAPC President’s Award may be presented annually. Each member group may forward one nomination of an eligible award recipient, accompanied by necessary documentation and support. Nominations will also be derived from the staff and Board of Directors of PEIRSAPC.
Nominations will be returned to the Awards Committee ( a sub-committee of the PEIRSAPC Board of Directors) prior to the AGM. The Awards Committee will review all nominations and present recommendations to the President who will make the final selection of the PEIRSAPC President’s Award recipient.
The PEIRSAPC Athlete Fund was created through generous support from people throughout the province of Prince Edward Island. This program is intended to support students who are physically challenged in all three levels of school...(elementary / junior / senior)...and have demonstrated interest and involvement in recreation and / or sport. There will be an average of four(4) awards given out at each school level. The awards have a value of $60.00 for senior high school students, $40.00 for junior high school students, and $25.00 for elementary school students.
ELIGIBILITY
* Resident of PEI.
* Individual who is physically challenged.
* Active in sport/recreation programs at the
community or school level.
REQUIREMENTS
* School staff member will complete nomination
form (over). Attach an additional sheet if extra space is required.
* Nominations must be received by April 30th
of current year.
* Successful nominees will be invited to accept
their award at the PEIRSAPC Annual General Meeting in June of current year.
