The day that I was formal diagnosed must have been the happiest day of my life. I wrote the following that day : Half a life I was an undiagnosed autistic, confused with himself and the world around him. If I have the fortune to grow old, I will live the second part of that life, not as an alien but as a common autistic human being. Perhaps I can find some rest and peace now. |
