It wasn't discovered yet, or at least, wasn't widely known. Whenever I had problems, fitting in at school, making friends, etc., I asked myself the same question. All the answers I ever came up with, (and there were many), didn't make me feel very good about myself. And they didn't really fit, either. I'm thankful that I finally got a diagnosis and realized that it wasn't anything to worry about. I'm just "me" is all, and that's just fine. It's really changed my attitude, and I"m doing very well now, secure in knowing who I am. |
