Chelsy by the Sea is a small, family-operated business located in Stanhope, on Prince Edward Island's north shore, and comprised of five housekeeping units: 4 cottages and a house. All units are newly-built and exceptionally clean, and boast stained pine interiors, cathedral ceilings, and fully-equipped kitchens with all amenities, from microwaves to coffeemakers. Each unit has a propane barbecue, colour cable television and VCR. Each cottage features two bedrooms and a loft, which is especially popular with the younger set. The master bedroom features a queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom has a double, and the loft has a pull-out couch and a daybed. All units have a full bath/shower, with daily towel service. In addition to all the amenities mentioned, the house adds a dishwasher, patio doors from each bedroom to a deck, a large outdoor hot tub, and an additional bathroom. Enjoying the Playground Services available at the onsite guest services centre/office include: a laundromat, free movies (mostly childrens movies), free firewood, a bookstore, and telephone, fax and email access. The extremely quiet and private park-like setting includes a playground, campfire pit, and safe, open areas for kids to play. The beautiful world-class beaches of the Prince Edward Island National Park are located a mere 300 metres from the property. A ten-minute stroll puts you on the nicest beaches in PEI, and the home of some of the world's most beautiful sunsets. When you tire of the beach, just turn around, as the 18-hole Stanhope Golf and Country Club is just 700 metres in the opposite direction.
