After ascending 54 steps to the top tower, one can take in a magnificent 360 degree view of a local working fishing port, ferries crossing from P.E.I. - N.S., as well as a stretch of beautiful red coastal line, bordering on Northumberland Strait. Built in 1876, this red and white structure no longer plays such a major role in aiding marine traffic or fishing boats around the harbour.
