The Community Legal Information Association of Prince Edward Island, Inc. (CLIA) is a non-profit corporation and a registered charity. Its work is called public legal education. CLIA's goal is to provide Islanders with understandable, useful information about our laws and our justice system. CLIA's work is a co-operative effort by members of community groups, lawyers' associations, government departments and interested members of the general public. CLIA is funded by the Department of Justice Canada, the Prince Edward Island Office of the Attorney General, and the Prince Edward Island Law Foundation.
