| Certain games require a user friendly interface to make the gameplay enjoyable and failure to do so can make it utterly terrible. CryptaGram integrates a well thought out interface that excels at providing you quick access to options and this as well as the beautiful graphics, makes this letter substitution game a pleasure to play. The only thing lacking would be background music but hey, stick in your favourite CD and play this game. Getting to the heart of the matter, variety is nice and this title packs a bunch of quotes and phrases in ten different categories; even including something for kids. For those unfamiliar with cryptagrams, your basic objective is to substitute letters to a series of empty boxes and by observation and revelation, your guesses will soon reveal the hidden set of words. The developer has also added some nice touches including different sounds and icons for the varying categories. In addition, to accomodate novices, a little helper is available and the differing facial expressions basically tell you if the letter placement is correct or not. This demo provides almost all of the functions and must be registered after 30 days of usage. An extended version is also available overflowing with more encrytped phrases.
