Nova Scotia Short Track Speed Skating Championships

The Nova Scotia Short Track Speed Skating Championships are being held Nov. 22 &
23rd /08 in Dartmouth. Skaters planning to attend can reserve rooms at the Comfort
Inn-560 Bedford Hwy-902-443-0303 www.choicehotels.ca 13 rooms with dbl
beds and12 rooms with Queen and sofa bed ($ 85.49).
The rooms have been blocked under "Dartmouth Speed Skating" for Nov 21
& 22nd, so ask mention that when you book your room.

Learn to Skate

SpeedSkate PEI has a great 'Learn to Skate' program for skaters of all ages.  The focus is on developing general skills and techniques for beginner skaters no matter what type of skating they plan to pursue: hockey, ringette, speedskating, etc.
