About Prince Edward Island

The West Prince Recovery Centre provides a protected environment for persons in recovery from addiction to alcohol and/or other drugs.  

The facility is a comfortable, homey place with room for 12 male residents. The residence resembles a home rather than a hospital or institution.  We believe that this provides an atmosphere in which attitudes are less likely to be associated with a treatment centre, rather they will be a part of everyday life in everyday settings.

A service program has been created that is tailored to meet the individual needs of every client, while leaving enough unstructured time to provide for the peer interaction that is vital to post care, continued recovery.

The West Prince Recovery Centre is located in a beautiful setting in rural Prince Edward Island, where the pristine, healthful environment contribute to the recovery process.
