LATIN ACCESS was founded in 1993, initially with a view to the opportunities and intercultural communication challenges that the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) presented to Canadians, Mexicans and Americans. Our intention was to provide them the necessary skills to understand and deal with each other as people, and to negotiate effectively.

LATIN ACCESS name symbolizes a "bridge". It was selected with the objective of facilitating the communication process between English-speaking people and those who speak languages of "Latin" origin (i.e. French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian). However, as a result of globalization, to date we have delivered our services in 50 plus languages, including Arabic, Greek, Russian, Ukranian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Polish, Japanese and German. The term ACCESS stems from our interest in assisting professionals, businesses and governments to establish contacts and penetrate international markets by utilizing our professional Intercultural Communication Services .

LATIN ACCESS services have always made special emphasis on Human Relations since it is the most important component for doing business with people from a variety of cultures. In fact, in many instances, it is the basis for allowing business commitments to become fruitful.

LATIN ACCESS was launched with the World Potato Congress held in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada in 1993. We catered our Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpretation Services into Spanish, French and Italian.As well, we provided our Translation, International Social Etiquette, Business Protocol and Hostessing Services to the organizers, exhibitors and participants in this event.
