                                                                          Patricia Diaz

Patricia Diaz was born in Mexico City and has lived in Canada since 1983. She has successfully operated her own Intercultural Communication Services in Prince Edward Island, Canada since 1985, and has been a member of Rotary International since 1989. 

Patricia obtained her professional credentials as a Teacher of English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) , Spanish Translator & Interpreter in Oxford, England in 1976. She also undertook German and French Language Studies at the Goethe Institut in Mexico City and at Laval University in Quebec, Canada, respectively. Patricia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Hospitality Industries from Universidad del Valle de Mexico. 

Her vast professional experience ranges from having taught English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) to executives from the private and public sectors in Mexico to delivering ESL Training Programs for Holland College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. She presently delivers customized ESL Training to international clients from a variety of professional backgrounds and cultures; has taught Spanish for more than 20 years and performed as a Spanish Sessional Lecturer at the University of Prince Edward Island for 3 years. 

Courses in Human Relations, Marketing & Business Communications for the Culinary Institute of Canada have been designed and presented by her. 

Patricia has conducted extensive research to develop and deliver seminars in Intercultural Communication, Human Relations, Social Etiquette and Business Protocol to professionals and business people involved in global affairs. She has been featured as a successful "real-world" intercultural communicator, in the 2002 Canadian Edition of Excellence in Business Communication, a textbook published by Prentice Hall & Ryerson University Department of Business & Technical Communication, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. 

Patricia is the author of A Guide of Mexican Customs and Manners, and has been actively involved in Canadian Multiculturalism. She is thrilled to share her own skills and expertise with Latin Access Team and Clientele.
