    Trevor Boris makes Island appearance

    Trevor Boris, 2008 Canadian College and Universities Comedian of the Year, comes to The Wave at UPEI October 10. A Winnipeg native, Trevor is one of the stars of MuchMusic’s hit show Video on Trial, CTV’s Comedy NOW, LOGO’s One Night Standup, and recently appeared on Season 5 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, making the Finals of Canada.

    Trevor is a two-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee, has performed at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, the Cape Town International Comedy Festival in South Africa, the Vancouver Comedy Festival, as well as Galas at the CBC Winnipeg and Halifax Comedy Festivals.

    Along with Video on Trial (of which he is also a producer), Trevor has appeared in numerous MuchMusic specials. He is the host of the Same Sex Wedding Series I Now Pronounce You currently airing on OUT TV in Canada and other countries.

    Always the multi-tasker, Trevor has recently filmed two television pilots; The Truth About for CBC, and Bought the Farm for Browne Entertainment, is a regular on CBC Radio’s The Debaters, was one of the writers of the 2007 MuchMusic Video Awards. He can also be seen in every episode of MuchMusic’s upcoming fall ’07 show Stars Gone Wild, and has written for The National Post. Trevor was also named in NOW magazine’s Top 10 Comedy Performances of 2006.
