To encourage the spreading of the community justice message throughout Atlantic Canada, the project staff, in partnership with various community organizations, are facilitating six communications workshops throughout the region.
You will learn:
- how to tailor your message depending on the audience
- how to effectively prepare for a media interview
- effective communication strategies
- how to produce effective communication tools like news releases and public service announcements
Volunteers or paid staff working in the area of community justice, police and correctional officers, justice personnel, faith community members, advocates for victims or offenders and others interested in fanning the flame of community justice.
