• Over 500 Rotarians in the region hear about the merits of Community Justice approaches.
• A database of over 500 Community Justice leaders in Atlantic Canada is developed.
• Approximately 230 Community Justice leaders take part in Communications workshop.
• 240 Communication Manuals are distributed to persons that will assist to fan the flame well into the future.
• Community Advisory Group to advance Community Justice in the region is developed.
• 75 Community Justice activities in Atlantic Canada are identified and included in a directory.
• 50 Restorative Justice Week Planning Kits are issued to Community Justice leaders in the region to promote Restorative Justice Week.
• Mayor of Moncton declared Restorative Justice Week.
• Cleve Cooper, Assistant Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police addresses Rotary Clubs in the region.
• Ole Ingstrup, Commissioner of the Correctional service of Canada addresses Rotary Clubs in the region.
• 7 people join their local Restorative Justice Committee.
• 1647 people visit the ACJP web page.
• A thorough Year in Review is conducted on three significant organizations that promote Community Justice.
• 300 Sample Rotary Speeches are distributed throughout the region.
• 230 Media lists are distributed throughout the region.
• 472 community justice leaders were surveyed about their community justice activities, with a response rate of 18.4 %. (It is estimated that on average a mailed survey in Atlantic Canada yields a response rate of approx. 3 - 5%.)
• 175 Community Justice and 112 Restorative Justice resources, including stories, overhead presentations, books, articles, newsletters, videos and pamphlets are collected and/or catalogued and available at the Atlantic Crime Prevention Resource Library.
• A media panel advises workshop participants in Moncton on how to best ensure coverage of events.
• Project is promoted to over 700 community leaders in Atlantic Canada.
• A video of Kay Pranis conducting public seminars to promote Restorative Justice is prepared and sourced in the Atlantic Crime Prevention Resource Library.
• A stories file is assembled and distributed throughout the region as an effective tool in promoting and increasing awareness of Community Justice.
• Rotarians in Nova Scotia join local efforts in Restorative Justice.
• The groundwork is laid for a Community Justice Speakers Bureau in Atlantic Canada.
• 1-800 number for the Atlantic Crime Prevention Resource Library expands to accept calls from the entire region for borrowing resource materials.
