YOU GOT IT RIGHT!
The exhibits you see when you visit a museum are only a small part of the work
which goes on there. The objects in the collection must be recorded and
catalogued, protected and preserved, and of course, researched. People must
also develop ways to interpret the information through exhibits, and then
build the exhibits themselves.
